Jason Hardy

Background
JASON HARDY

Jason Hardy is a living legend in the broadcasting world, with a career spanning close to four decades.

Humble Beginnings of Jason Hardy

Jason’s illustrious journey began in 1988 at Signal Radio in Staffordshire, where he first graced the airwaves. A decade later, he found himself at the heart of Liverpool, contributing his talent to the iconic Radio City, before seamlessly transitioning to Century Radio across the vibrant North West of England.

In the year 2000, Jason took his expertise to the BBC where he started as a Presenter and he now works as a senior producer,  but lucky for us he has also assumed the prestigious role of Station Manager here at Travel.Radio. Yes, you heard it right – Jason is one of the masterminds behind the scenes, ensuring that our station runs like a well-oiled machine.

The Weekday Breakfast Show

But that’s not all,  Jason Hardy is also the magnetic voice behind your weekday Breakfast Show here on Travel.Rado, infusing each morning with his dynamic fun energy.

36 Years of Industry Firsts

With almost 36 years of experience, Jason Hardy isn’t just a presenter; he’s a seasoned producer, interviewer, researcher, and reporter, leaving an indelible mark on every project he touches.

Beyond the studio, Jason’s influence extends to mentoring new talent and electrifying clubs and bars around the North West with his DJ sets. And let’s not forget the fun facts that make Jason a true radio icon – from being the first in the UK to interview the Spice Girls to sharing a cup of coffee made by none other than Robbie Williams. Lunches with Ant and Dec and a drink invitation from Jimmy Somerville? Just another day in the life of Jason.

So, grab your spoon and your breakfast bowl and join us at the breakfast table with Jason, a man whose passion for radio knows no bounds.
